Kristin Livdahl

Kristin Livdahl grew up in Bloomington, Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis. She studied English and East Asian Studies at Grinnell College and the University of Minnesota. She lives in a suburb of St. Paul with her husband, author Alan DeNiro, 2 dogs, 3 cats and a revolving assortment of foster kittens.

She spent 14 years working for an agency that serves people who are homeless, doing a variety of jobs including volunteer coordinator and shelter director. She currently works for a large animal welfare organization where she supervises animal care at her local shelter.

Her short fiction has appeared in the 'zines Flytrap and Say and the anthology Exquisite Corpuscle published by Fairwood Press. With author Christopher Barzak and her husband she runs Rabid Transit Press.
