JoSelle Vanderhooft
JoSelle Vanderhooft is an author, editor, poet, reviewer, and WisCon
enthusiast with several publications to her name, including: Ossuary (2008
Bram Stoker Award finalist in poetry), Steam-Powered: Lesbian Steampunk
Stories (2012 Lambda Literary Award finalist), the forthcoming novel
Ebenezer (Zumaya Publications, fall 2013) and the forthcoming anthology
Femmes Fatales (Lethe Press, 2013 Her poetry and short fiction has
appeared in a number of venues including Goblin Fruit, Mythic
Delirium, Jabberwocky, and Scheherezade's
Bequest. Shattering Ableist Narratives is her seventh
anthology, and she is thrilled to join the Aqueduct family. When not
editing novels for several publishers and authors, she brews tea, fangirls
over Doctor Who (though she has a preference for the classic series), plays
with stray cats, and wonders why Florida has no seasons other than "hot,"
"really hot," and "OMG hurricanes!". She lives near Fort Lauderdale with
her partner and her beloved orange tabby, Oscar.
